Money is simply An Idea

 

It has often been said that “Our thoughts create the world around us”. This is a very true statement, in that – all that we see; all that we ultimately become depends on what we conjure up in our own minds, what we allow our minds to hold as Truth.

An Example

Two men drove at the night time, say down the Malagwane road. One on left lane is a black man, the one on the right side of the lane is a white man. As they continue, cars side by side, they see a black cat run across the road in front of their cars. The white man will simply see a black cat crossing, and his mind will tell him that this cat possibly was simply coming from the homes across the road. The black man will see the cat and quickly think “bad luck”. Suddenly he gets scared and next you know he has been involved in an accident or even starts to believe that “bamloyile”. Why?

-       The white man has not been conditioned. He sees the cat for exactly what it is a black cat.

-       The black man’s way of thought, his upbringing, his exposure taught him to think evil when he sees a black cat crossing right in front of him.

While both may see the same cat, their Conditioning, the Thoughts Process creates different Outcomes, different Worlds. Yes, our thoughts create the world around us.

Similarly with Money! What we believe about money determines what and how we attract money into our lives.

-       What we believe about money creates how we think about it

o    OUR HEART CHANNELS OUR BRAINS

-       How we think about money governs the way we will behave toward it

o    OUR BRAIN DRIVE THE ACTIONS THAT WE WILL TAKE

-       How we behave guarantees whether we will have money

o    OUR ACTIONS DETERMINE THE RESULT (HOW MUCH MONEY WE HAVE)

 

What is Money therefore?

Money is a concept - an idea.

It is simply an idea that a group of people believe can be exchanged with a certain value. The piece of paper is meaningless if it is not attached to a “good”. Money is a Tool, an enabler for releasing potential Eccles 10:19 (MONEY ANSWERS ALL THINGS). Most people insist that Money corrupts people. I disagree. Money does not corrupt people, but Instead people corrupt people with money. Money instead gives us opportunity to become more of who we already are.

The real holdback to wealth is you and more importantly your wealth mythos and your thinking which results in the actions you ultimately take

 
Becoming wealthy therefore is a consequence of actions taken, it is not an entitlement, it is not a miracle. Yes you may scratch the lotto and win (you will have money, but you will not be wealthy in my eyes. Real wealth is created through repeated actions that are fuelled by enhanced understanding and an appreciation to what Money truly is.

1)    Your Revelation about money must first change – Believe that you can have money and identify your passions

2)    Pursue your passions – that which you will focus on will definitely multiply

To be able to Pursue your passions however your must be willing to confront your Convictions.

 

Convictions to Confront

§  Wealth is for others but not me I cannot do it even if I tried

§  I need to have lots of money in order to make money

§  Ill start next month (procrastination)

 Everyone can get rich, everyone. The difference lie in each our belief systems ill repeat.

 The only difference between the rich and the poor is in their dogmas!
