How to balance work and family

Balancing work and family

In all our personal journeys, there is a common target that we can work toward achieving. This target becomes the point of success for most people. This target is achievable if we allow our minds to embrace some truths that serve to liberate and empower the mind to realize that power lies within us all – and all that we need to do is realize and embrace that

  • The best things in life are actually NOT things.
  • One thing I know for sure is this: money doesn’t make you rich. Once you have money, the myth of how your life will be better with it is erased. Suddenly you awake to realize that, it wasn’t money after all that you needed for you to have been happy, it was always the person inside of you that needed to awake from slumber. As I said previously, money changes nothing about you – it just allows you to buy more things, money doesn’t change you, it simply reveals who you already are.

  • You are always vulnerable to that which pays you
  • Unless you are self-employed, you are always vulnerable to someone else controlling your professional destiny, and therefore, your life worth. But you can empower yourself by diversifying your skills and experiences so that you have more choices about where and for whom to work.

  • You destiny is in your hand
  • Make being marketable and employable a top priority. Knowing that you have skills that are in demand is liberating and allows you to redefine how you choose to work and gives you the freedom to balance your life in your current job, even if the company you work for won’t.

  • All our journeys have a definite ending
  • Be very much aware of the fact that, out time is very limited. We most times function with the misplaced belief that we have all the time we want and that our world is full of tomorrows. The truth is that every day counts and one day you will turn around and 10 more years will have gone by. Time is precious, especially if you know that you don’t have much of it left. Why is it that people who have faced death live the most? Why must it take a close call with tragedy, or tragedy itself, before we realize that it could all be gone in an instant?

Find balance for your life and Start living NOW!!
The balance is possible, yet it is only achieved at the point where you fully awake to that, you need your family to help you become the best that you can be. The people that are closest to you, once you give the space to celebrate your achievements, and who you, become your greatest inspiration, without which none of your achievements become worthwhile.
Yes, ask the man who lived his whole life in a bi house, all by himself. He will tell you that he dies lonely, and would have sacrificed all he had, just for love, just foe someone to say “thank you, we appreciate what you do for us, and therefore value who you are”.
